WALTHAM and WALPOLE, Mass.— Benchmark Senior Living has promoted Adam Manchester to senior campus executive director, a newly created leadership role overseeing operations across the organization’s continuing care retirement community (CCRC) portfolio.

In his expanded position, Manchester will lead operations for Benchmark’s four CCRCs: Edgehill, Meadow Ridge, New Pond Village, and The Commons in Lincoln.

The promotion reflects Benchmark’s efforts to evolve its leadership structure as its portfolio grows, according to Jake Quigley, senior vice president of operations.

“Adam brings extensive oversight experience and a proven ability to lead communities to strong operational performance,” Quigley said. “I am confident that his leadership, dedication, and commitment to transforming lives through human connection will continue to serve our CCRCs well.”

Manchester has served as campus executive director at New Pond Village for the past seven years and will continue in that role while taking on broader responsibilities across the portfolio.

A veteran of more than 25 years in senior living, Manchester began his career with Benchmark in 2002 as a home office accountant. He later advanced through leadership roles at multiple communities, including Harbor Point at Centerville, Haverhill Crossings, The Falls at Cordingly Dam, and Billerica Crossings. He also served as the opening executive director at Benchmark’s Woburn community in 2016.

In a statement, Manchester emphasized his commitment to residents and staff across the organization.

“The work that we do at Benchmark impacts the lives of so many people,” he said. “It is my honor to bring my experience and dedication to senior living to all our CCRCs.”

Benchmark Senior Living, headquartered in Waltham, operates senior housing communities throughout the Northeast and continues to expand its leadership team as demand for senior living services evolves.
