PORTLAND, Maine — Reveler Development has hired P.J. Massey as director of asset management, adding more than a decade of institutional real estate experience to the Portland-based company’s growing multifamily and mixed-use portfolio.

Massey will oversee asset performance, strategy, financial planning and long-term value creation across Reveler’s portfolio. His responsibilities will span the full life cycle of the company’s assets, including portfolio-level strategy and reporting, capital planning, and operational and regulatory considerations.

Massey joins Reveler after 11 years with Brookfield Properties, where he most recently served as a vice president overseeing a 22-million-square-foot Class A office portfolio in Manhattan. He joined Brookfield in 2014 through the company’s analyst rotation program and advanced through a series of increasingly senior positions.

“P.J. brings exceptional experience managing large-scale real estate portfolios, and we’re excited to have him join Reveler,” said John Laliberte, president and CEO of Reveler Development. “His experience managing complex assets at significant scale brings a valuable perspective to our team as we continue to grow and evolve our portfolio.”

In his new role, Massey will focus on asset strategy and financial performance while working closely with teams responsible for the company’s investments, development, construction and property management operations.

“Reveler is a growing platform with real ambition, and joining at this stage gives me the opportunity to help shape how asset management evolves alongside the company,” Massey said. “I’m excited to bring the same level of rigor I developed working in institutional real estate, while being closer to the assets and the people making the operational decisions.”

Massey said Reveler’s integrated approach was a key factor in his decision to join the company.

“It’s a more holistic and hands-on approach, and that was a big part of what drew me to Reveler,” he said.

A graduate of St. Lawrence University, Massey recently relocated to Maine with his wife and their two children. His wife grew up in Cape Elizabeth, where the family is now making its home.

Massey’s hiring comes as Reveler continues to expand its integrated real estate platform, combining investment, development, construction and management capabilities. The company said his focus on portfolio performance and long-term strategy will help support its continued growth across multiple markets.
