Newman Properties, Atlantic Capital Buy Wareham Commercial Property For $8.3 Million

WAREHAM, Mass. — Newman Properties, in partnership with Atlantic Capital Commercial Real Estate LLC, has purchased a three-building commercial property at 10-40 Rosebrook Way in Wareham for $8.3 million.

The companies announced the acquisition Aug. 12. The property is located directly off Route 28 and includes three fully occupied buildings.

The site is positioned in front of TownePlace Suites and the luxury apartments at 35 Rosebrook, according to Newman Properties. The property has a tenant roster that includes Cape Cod Five Cents Savings Bank, Ninety Nine Restaurant & Pub, Five Guys, Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston, Saga Fusion and Southcoast Dental.

Newman Properties and Atlantic Capital Commercial Real Estate said the acquisition adds a fully occupied commercial asset with a diverse mix of retail, restaurant, banking and medical tenants to their portfolios.

Newman Properties thanked the Colliers team for its work on the transaction, along with attorney Jessica Heywood of Dwyer Goncalves, Gregg Lieberman of Lieberman Law Office PC and Ross Grifkin of Rockland Trust.

The acquisition expands Newman Properties’ commercial holdings as the company continues to pursue acquisitions throughout New England.

Newman Properties and its affiliates own and manage more than 750 residential units as well as commercial and retail properties. The company said it has acquired and sold more than $500 million in real estate across Greater Boston, the South Shore and the North Shore.

Its current pipeline includes residential condominium conversions, value-add renovations, long-term buy-and-hold investments and commercial opportunities throughout New England.
