SALEM, N.H.— The Mall at Rockingham Park is expanding its mix of retail and entertainment offerings with a wave of new tenants set to open throughout 2026, reinforcing its position as a leading tax-free shopping destination in New England.
The latest additions, rolling out from spring through fall, reflect a broader strategy to evolve the property into a full-day destination that blends shopping, dining and entertainment.
Already open on the lower level, Carter’s brings a well-known name in children’s clothing to the center, offering a range of apparel from everyday basics to special occasion wear.
Several first-to-market and experiential concepts are also on the way. Rowan is expected to debut its first New Hampshire location in late May, featuring a unique ear-piercing model performed by board-certified nurses using hypoallergenic materials. In early summer, New Balance will open a new store offering performance footwear, apparel and accessories.
The mall is also set to welcome POP MART this summer, introducing its globally recognized collectible toy concept. Known for its blind box format and popular characters such as Labubu, the brand has built a strong following among younger consumers, blending art, fandom and retail into an interactive experience.
Looking ahead to the fall, the center will further expand its entertainment-driven offerings with the arrivals of Game On and Loretta’s Last Call—two concepts closely associated with the game-day atmosphere near Fenway Park in Boston. Their introduction is expected to enhance the mall’s evening appeal, creating a more vibrant, social destination beyond traditional retail hours.
“These additions highlight how The Mall at Rockingham Park continues to grow alongside our community,” said Elizabeth Tetreault, Area Director of Marketing. “We are thoughtfully curating the brands and experiences guests want, from everyday essentials to entertainment destinations, so every visit offers something for everyone, at any time of day.”
Located in Salem, the mall continues to attract both local shoppers and out-of-state visitors drawn by New Hampshire’s tax-free retail environment. The latest wave of openings signals ongoing investment in experiential retail, as landlords increasingly prioritize destinations that combine commerce, community and entertainment under one roof.
