BOSTON — Flight House Fitness is set to open a sprawling new location in Charlestown this May, introducing what the company describes as Boston’s first fully integrated fitness destination.

Located at 465 Medford Street along the Mystic River, the 50,000-square-foot facility will combine open-gym training, structured hybrid and strength-based group classes, and private recovery suites under one roof. The concept is designed to replace the need for multiple gym and studio memberships by offering a comprehensive fitness experience in a single location.

The Charlestown site marks the brand’s second location and its first expansion into Massachusetts. Founded in New Hampshire, Flight House Fitness is positioning the new facility as a response to evolving consumer expectations in the fitness industry—particularly demand for more personalized, spacious, and versatile training environments.

“Flight House was built by listening directly to real consumers to understand what’s been missing in the fitness industry,” said Jay Collins. “We’re bringing fifteen years of hands-on experience to Charlestown, along with a clear strategy to fill those gaps.”

The building, previously used as a corporate call center within a property owned by Flatley Company, has been transformed into a high-end fitness space designed by Ivory & Bone Interiors. The redesign emphasizes open layouts, premium finishes, and waterfront views, with dedicated areas for training, recovery, and locker सुविधities.

According to Curtis Duffy, the facility aims to address common frustrations among gym-goers, including overcrowding, inconsistent coaching, and lack of privacy in recovery spaces. “This club was designed to be consistent, spacious, and personal every single day,” he said.

Membership presales are already underway, with pricing ranging from $119 per month for base access to $289 for all-inclusive offerings. The company expects the new location to open during the final week of May, signaling a major step in its regional growth strategy.

With its size, amenities, and waterfront setting, the Charlestown facility is poised to become a notable addition to Boston’s competitive fitness market.
