BOSTON— Shepley Bulfinch announced the retirement of Principal Cathleen Lange after 26 years with the firm.
Lange, who joined Shepley Bulfinch in 2000, played a key role in the firm’s healthcare practice, contributing to the design and delivery of a range of facilities, including inpatient hospitals, outpatient centers, cancer treatment facilities, and mental health environments.
Her project work included collaborations with major healthcare organizations such as Yale New Haven Health, Mass General Brigham, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Mount Auburn Hospital, Tufts Medicine, and Boston Children’s Hospital.
“I feel incredibly grateful for my time at Shepley Bulfinch and the people I’ve worked with over the past 26 years,” Lange said in a statement. “The firm has provided a platform for growth, surrounded by colleagues who have supported and inspired me.”
In addition to her project work, Lange was involved in mentoring staff and contributing to internal leadership development efforts at the firm.
“Cathy’s impact on Shepley Bulfinch extends beyond the projects she led,” said Angela Watson, president and CEO of the firm. “She has played an important role in shaping our culture and supporting emerging leaders.”
Shepley Bulfinch said Lange’s contributions will continue to influence its healthcare design practice and internal teams.
