Los Angeles-based wellness and fashion brand joins growing lineup of women’s apparel retailers at Legacy Place
DEDHAM, MA— ALO, the Los Angeles-based wellness lifestyle brand known for its fashion-forward activewear and studio-to-street clothing, will open a new location at Legacy Place in Dedham in late 2026, adding another high-profile name to the shopping destination’s expanding women’s fashion lineup.
The arrival of ALO comes amid a period of continued retail growth at Legacy Place, with recent and upcoming additions including Brandy Melville and Abercrombie & Fitch. The new store will join existing fashion retailers such as Aritzia, further strengthening Legacy Place’s position as a destination for contemporary women’s fashion in the Boston area.
Founded in 2007, ALO has grown into a global wellness lifestyle brand with roots in yoga, mindfulness and movement. The company is known for high-performance apparel designed to transition from workouts and studios to everyday wear.
When it opens, the Legacy Place location is expected to offer ALO’s full apparel collection, along with the brand’s signature community events and wellness-focused activations.
The expansion reflects ALO’s broader approach to retail, which combines fashion with wellness and community. In addition to apparel, the brand’s ecosystem includes wellness products, community events and an online fitness platform featuring thousands of free classes and other offerings.
The new Dedham location will give shoppers in the Boston area another opportunity to experience the brand in person.
Legacy Place, located at 680 Legacy Place in Dedham, features more than 75 shopping, dining and entertainment brands. Its lineup includes Whole Foods Market, West Elm, Kendra Scott, Aerie, Pure Barre, Showcase Cinema de Lux, Apple, Anthropologie, The Capital Grille, Shake Shack, L.L.Bean, Il Massimo, Caffè Nero, sweetgreen and lululemon.
Since opening in 2009, Legacy Place has positioned itself as a regional shopping and lifestyle destination, combining retail, dining and entertainment with events and community programming.
The addition of ALO is part of an ongoing effort by the property to bring sought-after national and international brands to the Dedham market.
