BOSTON — Celebrating a decade as one of Boston’s most beloved dining destinations, Committee, the dynamic Greek and Mediterranean hotspot located in the Seaport, is ushering in a bold new era. As part of its 10th anniversary celebration, Committee proudly announces the appointment of Chef Sebastian Zuluaga as its new Executive Chef, alongside a comprehensive redesign of its acclaimed indoor and outdoor spaces.
Since opening its doors in June 2015, Committee has become a cornerstone of Boston’s culinary and social scenes, renowned for its vibrant shared plates, creative cocktails, and stylish ambiance. Owner George Aboujaoude says this milestone year offers the perfect moment to refresh and reenergize the beloved establishment.
“I’m incredibly grateful to the Seaport community and to our loyal guests for their support over the past ten years,” says Aboujaoude. “I’m excited to usher in the next chapter with a new chef and a complete refresh.”
A Rising Star in the Kitchen
Chef Sebastian Zuluaga brings a wealth of experience and creative vision to Committee. Most recently Executive Chef at Saltie Girl, Zuluaga has spent the past eight years honing his culinary voice within the Sidell Restaurant Group, with notable roles at MET Back Bay and Stephanie’s on Newbury.
“As I continue to grow in my career, I’m excited to bring my experience to Committee,” says Zuluaga. “We’ll honor the signature dishes our guests love, while raising the standard and letting seasonal ingredients truly shine. We’ve just launched some amazing new dishes—and they’ll only get better.”

A striking new mural by Boston artist Marcus Sebastiano, showcasing tranquil tones of blue and green.
Outside, the revamped 68-seat patio now offers flexible seating for both intimate and larger gatherings. Guests can enjoy new couches, shaded and sunny options, elegant lighting, and lush greenery designed by Rouvalis Flowers—creating the ultimate all-weather urban oasis.
