BURLINGTON, Mass.Burlington Mall is set to significantly expand its offerings in 2026, introducing a wave of new restaurants, retail stores, and interactive experiences aimed at transforming the property into a premier lifestyle destination in Greater Boston.

The upcoming additions include several first-to-Massachusetts concepts, underscoring the mall’s strategy to blend nationally recognized brands with unique, experiential attractions.

Among the most anticipated openings is Rocco’s Tacos & Tequila Bar, which will debut in Massachusetts this summer. Known for its lively atmosphere and bold Mexican cuisine, the restaurant marks its 12th location nationwide. Founder Rocco Mangel said Burlington was a natural fit for the brand’s Boston-area debut, citing the mall’s energy and community appeal.

The mall is also broadening its culinary lineup with innovative dining concepts. Wonder, now open at The Village, offers a unique ordering experience where guests can combine dishes from menus created by more than 15 high-profile chefs, including Bobby Flay, José Andrés, and Marcus Samuelsson.

Additional food options include Waffle & Bagel, expected to open by early summer, and Soup Zen Hot Pot, slated for a late fall debut featuring a blend of Asian culinary traditions.

Retail expansion is also a key component of the redevelopment. Turkish denim brand Mavi will open its first Massachusetts location this summer, while California-based jewelry company gorjana will introduce its signature fine and everyday pieces. Activewear brand Vuori is expected to follow later in the year with performance-focused apparel.

Meanwhile, Champs Sports will relocate to a newly expanded upper-level space in May, and Bissinger’s Handcrafted Chocolates will open its first Massachusetts outpost this summer, bringing its historic European-style sweets to the mall.

Beyond shopping and dining, Burlington Mall is investing heavily in entertainment and hands-on experiences. Game Show Battle Rooms will debut this summer, offering guests the chance to participate in live, game show-style competitions. In May, locally owned Craft Loft will open, providing adult-focused workshops such as candle making and rug tufting.

Lauren Dalis, the mall’s director of marketing and business development, said the expansion reflects a broader vision for the property.

“We are especially proud to introduce a strong mix of first-to-Massachusetts and highly sought-after concepts,” Dalis said. “This next wave of openings reflects our commitment to creating a destination where shopping, dining, and entertainment come together in a meaningful and exciting way.”

With these additions, Burlington Mall continues its evolution beyond traditional retail, positioning itself as a multifaceted hub designed to meet changing consumer preferences for experience-driven destinations.
