BOSTON — The Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce announced that Suffolk will serve as the exclusive corporate sponsor of the Chamber’s 2026 Government Affairs Forum event series. The sponsorship supports the Chamber’s ongoing efforts to convene business, civic, and government leaders around key public policy issues affecting Greater Boston and Massachusetts.

The Government Affairs Forum series brings together leaders from the public and private sectors for discussions on regional, state, and federal policy matters. The forums are designed to provide insight into government priorities, encourage dialogue, and foster connections among professionals across industries.

The first Government Affairs Forum of 2026 is scheduled for February 24 and will feature Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey as the keynote speaker. The event is expected to draw more than 600 attendees from the business, government, and nonprofit communities. Additional forum events later in the year will include appearances by Boston Mayor Michelle Wu and other regional leaders.

John Fish, Chairman and CEO of Suffolk, said the company views the sponsorship as an opportunity to support collaboration between the public and private sectors. James E. Rooney, President and CEO of the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce, said the partnership reflects Suffolk’s continued engagement with the Chamber and its policy programming.

In 2025, the Chamber’s Government Affairs Forums attracted more than 2,100 attendees across eight events, many of which reached capacity. Speakers during the year included Governor Healey, Mayor Wu, Speaker of the House Ronald J. Mariano, Senate President Karen Spilka, and Attorney General Andrea Campbell.

The 2026 forum series will continue to focus on policy issues shaping the region’s economic and civic landscape.
