WAYLAND, MA–R.W. Holmes, one of the largest commercial brokerage firms serving tenants and landlords in Massachusetts for more than 45 years, today announced that it recently negotiated the sale of an industrial building in Canton, MA.
Located at 1 Pequot Way, the 36,032-square-foot building was sold to an owner-user, One Pequot Way, LLC, for $5.6 million, or $156 per square foot. The firm specializes in custom fabrications, exhibit and trade shows, experiential environments, and logistics.
R. W. Holmes’ Michael Fahy represented the buyer in the transaction. Mark Donahue of Donahue & Associates represented the seller, Pequot Way, LLC.
Located on a 2.50-acre lot, the one-story industrial/warehouse building was built in 1978. The building has a 26 feet clear height, 3 loading docks, and 1 drive-in door.
“This sale is a great example of the opportunities that owner-occupants have in the current market,” said Fahy. “We are excited to have helped Rise Projects locate this off-market opportunity and expect there to be a continued trend of owner-occupant sales for the foreseeable future.
