Woburn, MA–In a transaction marked by purpose and faith, Colossians 3:23 LLC — a company owned by Dr. Mouhab Rizkallah — has acquired the 58,232-square-foot flex industrial building at 11 State Street in Woburn, MA for $14.5 million.
The seller, Foxfield Development, was represented by Brian Tisbert and Chris Lawrence of JLL, while David and Chloe Stubblebine of The Stubblebine Company represented the buyer.
The acquisition will provide a permanent home for GENESIS Church, a vibrant faith community that Dr. Rizkallah and his family have been part of since its founding in 2009. The new space is set to bolster the church’s capacity to serve the Greater Woburn area through its growing ministry and outreach.
Dr. Rizkallah stated that the holding company’s name, Colossians 3:23 LLC, reflects his family’s guiding beliefs:
“Naming the holding company Colossians 3:23 LLC captures my family’s worldview. The facts of science clearly indicate there is a God, and the facts of history amazingly point to Jesus Christ. So, this purpose-driven acquisition made perfect sense in my purpose-driven life.”
He emphasized that the church will be hosted in the building at cost-coverage-only rent, with no profit to the LLC and all future equity increases committed to GENESIS Church — a unique stewardship model that aligns with the family’s values.
Pastor Michael Davis, lead pastor of GENESIS, expressed deep gratitude: “GENESIS is grateful to the Rizkallah family for their faithful stewardship of the resources that God has entrusted to them. Their heart to be used by the LORD to further His Kingdom is truly inspiring. It has been a joy to have them part of the GENESIS family since its inception in September of 2009. We look forward to seeing how the LORD will use 11 State St. to further the mission and ministry of ‘helping ALL people walk with God.’”
David Stubblebine, who helped facilitate the deal, added:
“GENESIS now has in place a tremendous opportunity for exponential growth. The building will enable them to expand their dynamic ministry which is positively impacting many lives in the greater Woburn area.”
The sale of 11 State Street represents not just a real estate transaction, but a significant investment in the spiritual and community life of Woburn — a rare fusion of faith, purpose, and business.
