CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — Cambridge Community Television (CCTV) has renewed its 9,167-square-foot lease at 438 Massachusetts Avenue, ensuring the long-standing community media center will continue operating from its Central Square location.
The renewal was facilitated by Freudenheim Partners, which represented CCTV in the transaction.
CCTV has been a fixture in Cambridge’s Central Square neighborhood, providing media education, production resources, youth programming, and public access platforms designed to promote free expression, civic engagement, and community storytelling. The renewed lease secures the organization’s presence in a highly visible and accessible location that supports both its programming and its broader community mission.
“We are proud to have represented CCTV in this renewal and help secure a solution that supports its continued mission in Cambridge,” said Chris Rogers. “CCTV has long been an important institution in Cambridge, and we are pleased to have helped them remain in a location that supports both their operations and their connection to the community.”
Ellie Cullinan said the organization’s continued presence in Central Square is significant for the neighborhood’s cultural and civic landscape.
“CCTV plays a unique and meaningful role in Cambridge, and we were honored to help guide this renewal process,” she said. “438 Massachusetts Avenue continues to be an ideal home for the organization and its long-term vision.”
Founded as a community media center, CCTV provides training and access to production tools that enable residents to create and share content, while also supporting youth development programs and civic dialogue initiatives. The organization’s mission focuses on fostering a strong, equitable, and diverse community through media access and education.
With the lease renewal, CCTV will continue its operations at 438 Massachusetts Avenue, maintaining its presence in one of Cambridge’s most active civic and cultural corridors.
