BIDDEFORD, Maine — Reveler Development has opened preleasing for Lofts North, a new 51-unit apartment building along the Saco River that marks the final phase of The Levee mixed-use development in downtown Biddeford, Maine.
Located at Lofts North at The Levee, the five-story riverfront building includes 49 one-bedroom apartments, one two-bedroom unit, and one studio apartment. The project is the first ground-up multifamily residential development constructed in downtown Biddeford in decades, according to the developer.
The apartments feature open-concept layouts, large windows with river views, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and contemporary interiors inspired by natural materials and textures. Building amenities include a residential lobby, secure package and mail room, and bicycle storage.
Lofts North is adjacent to Lofts South at The Levee, the former textile mill redevelopment that launched the larger Levee project. Residents of both buildings will share amenities at Lofts South, including a coworking lounge, fitness center, and rooftop sky deck.
“Lofts North builds on a vision we’ve been advancing for years, and we couldn’t be more excited to officially welcome residents this summer,” said John Laliberte. “These apartments are designed to feel connected with not only the broader community at The Levee, but also downtown Biddeford — offering residents a place that’s both scenic and central.”
Situated along the Saco River and connected to the RiverWalk, The Levee development includes apartments, condominiums, townhomes, self-storage facilities, and an event venue known as The Foundry.
The Levee received a 2025 Maine Smart Growth Award for its adaptive reuse and community-focused design. Construction of Lofts North was managed by Reveler’s in-house construction team, while property management will again be handled by Port Property.
Lofts North is expected to officially open to residents in August 2026.
