Camber Development Partners with 88 Acres on Leasing 30,000 SF and Opening a Best-in-Class Food Production Facility in Canton

Canton, MA – Camber Development, a Boston-based real estate investor and operator, and Wheelock Street Capital announced 100% occupancy at their 94,000 sq. ft. life sciences and advanced manufacturing property at 85 John Road in Canton, MA.

88 Acres, a national food brand producing seed-based products, will join Underwriters Laboratories and Organogenesis as tenants at the property. CBRE’s Doug Rodenstein, Chelsea Andre, Rachel Marks and Chris Mullen represented both the landlord and tenant in this successful transaction.88 Acres was co-founded by Nicole Ledoux and Rob Dalton, and the company offers allergen-friendly protein bars, seed and oat bars, seed butters, and seed-nola. 88 Acres has been growing rapidly over the last several years, and their products are available at Whole Foods, Sprouts, Stop & Shop, Market Basket, and more than 4,200 grocery stores across the US.  85 John Road will serve as the company’s new production facility and will allow for significant growth coming out of their 7,000 sq. ft. facility in Dorchester.  Dacon Corporation, a Natick-based general contractor, was selected to oversee the project given their expertise in both industrial and specialized food production facilities.  88 Acres will take occupancy in March 2023. “Given how incredibly innovative and forward-thinking the 88 Acres team is, it was important for them to partner with a landlord who shares those same qualities and unwavering support for their tenants,” said Mr. Rodenstein, Vice President, CBRE. “Camber Development was a perfect fit in that regard.
