WHITE PLAINS, NY – Callahan Construction Managers announced that foundation work has commenced at The Residence at Basking Ridge, located at 219 Mt. Airy Road in Basking Ridge, NJ.
Once complete, The Residence at Basking Ridge will be a 90-apartment assisted living, memory care, temporary stay, and respite care community. Callahan is managing construction on the project, which is being developed by LCB Senior Living and was designed by The Architectural Team. This is the first project in New Jersey for Callahan’s New York office.
The Residence at Basking Ridge will provide a wealth of amenities to enhance hospitality, resident experience, and ease of living. Amenities will include spacious common living rooms, a bistro, salon, fitness area, and tastefully landscaped grounds. Additional amenities will include state-of-the-art lifestyle technologies throughout the building, modern emergency call and safety systems, and 24/7 staff and security. The building itself is being constructed with two levels of structural steel and three levels of CFS (cold formed steel) with a CFS truss roof system.
