As Vice President of Healthcare at Columbia, Sharon Jozokos, LEED AP has built a successful career on integrity, passion for winning, and hard work. Jozokos has a vast knowledge base of the various means and methods to implement a construction project.

With almost 30 years of construction experience, Jozokos has cultivated a diverse portfolio of satisfied healthcare clients including, Mass General Brigham, Maine Medical Center, Beth Israel Lahey Health, Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, MelroseWakefield Hospital, and Fenway Health. She works closely with her team to bring best practices, organization, innovation, and passion to all projects.

Jozokos earned her MBA at Boston College and her Construction Management degree from Wentworth Institute of Technology. Recognized by her alma mater for her extensive volunteerism and exceptional leadership, in 2020 she was awarded the Wentworth Institute of Technology’s Alumni Association Phillip J. Brooks Alumni Leadership Award, and in 2013, she received the distinguished “Woman of the Year” award.

Throughout her career, Jozokos has been involved with various complex construction projects, from small-scale renovations up to $200+ million of new construction. Her in-depth experience and hands-on approach makes her a great team leader. She is a LEED AP and she holds a ASHE Health Care Construction Certificate.

Her extensive volunteer efforts reach many industry organizations including the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC), Wentworth Institute of Technology’s University Advisor Executive Committee, and the Construction Management Industry Advisory Board. She is also a member of Massachusetts Maritime Academy’s Engineering Council and New England Healthcare Engineers’ Society’s Supporting Member Liaison to the Board of Directors. Supporting her colleagues and sharing her knowledge is of the highest importance to Jozokos. Throughout her career, she has worked hard to pave a path of success for herself, and for her colleagues and peers

Since joining Columbia, Jozokos has led the efforts in the firm’s Healthcare group and is actively involved in many hospital-related projects.

Recent projects include:

· Brigham and Women’s | Mass General, Health Care Center at Foxborough Exam Rooms and CT Replacement

· Partners HealthCare, Mass General Primary Care Assembly Row

· Lahey Hospital & Medical Center, Ambient MRI and Planning and construction of several pharmacies

· Hallmark Health | MelroseWakefield Hospital, Central Sterile Processing renovation

· Beverly Hospital, Cardiac Catherization Suite and Inpatient Tower AHU replacement

· Fenway Health, multiple renovations

When she is not in the office, Jozokos enjoys traveling and weaving in historical and educational experiences for her family, whenever possible. During her career, she managed work in North Africa for 15 years and she was able to return there for a family safari in the summer of 2018.
