Boston, MA—The Wilder Companies announced the addition of Ulta Beauty to Marketplace at Hamden as of July, 2019, adding the premier beauty retailer destination to this well anchored, open-air shopping center.
Ulta will occupy 11,158 square feet of space between Staples and Old Navy and will boast more than 25,000 products from approximately 500 beauty brands across all categories and price points.
Ulta Beauty prides itself on offering personalized shopping and salon services, all in an energetic and engaging atmosphere. Since opening its first store in 1990, Ulta Beauty has grown to become the largest U.S. beauty retailer and the principal beauty destination for cosmetics, fragrance, skin care products, hair care products and salon services.
“With Ulta Beauty being a trailblazer in the modern beauty market, we are delighted to add this service sector to the Marketplace at Hamden” said Maria Salvatore, Leasing Representative, The Wilder Companies. “Their presence will broaden the diversity of services available to the community at this center, aimed to meet all convenience needs in one easily accessible location.”
Marketplace at Hamden is a 235,600 square foot, open-air shopping center featuring one of the highest volume Stop & Shop locations in New England. It also features T.J. Maxx, Staples, Old Navy, and popular specialty shops including Petco, Orangetheory Fitness, and TGI Fridays. The town of Hamden is an affluent community that is part of the Greater New Haven trade area.
Marketplace is located on Route 10, a major Hamden to New Haven route, and just four miles from Downtown New Haven (Connecticut’s second largest city). It is well located in an area known as the “Magic Mile” for its critical mass of shopping centers and major retail stores. Additionally, the high concentration of major colleges, universities, and healthcare facilities in this vicinity are generating area population growth and offers economic stability.
