BELLINGHAM, MA— TMC Holdings & Development, LLC an affiliate of the Bellingham, MA-based Green Site Services Group, has acquired a 7.49-acre industrial redevelopment site where it plans to permit and construct a new 50,000 square foot industrial/flex building.

Located at 45 Kenwood Circle in Franklin, MA, the former Strategic Materials glass recycling facility will be demolished to make way for redevelopment to meet strong regional demand for industrial/flex space.

“We are excited to add 45 Kenwood Circle to our portfolio of industrial property offerings.  The development-friendly town of Franklin is one of the more desirable locations in the Route 495 South Market.  The site currently consists of a decommissioned glass recycling operation that has been the source of nuisance environmental issues to the community.  Our redevelopment of this site to a more attractive, eco-friendly use will be welcome news to the town and neighboring tenants of the industrial park”, said Matthew Clark, President of Green Site Services.

The new building will include 24’ clear height along with heavy three-phase/480v power and town sewer.  The site is conveniently located in the Marijuana Overlay District with frontage on I-495 and is just one mile from the Route 140 Interchange. Situated between Forge Park and Franklin Industrial Park, the neighborhood is home to a variety of large businesses such as Garelick Farms, Thermo Fisher Scientific, Dell/EMC, Estes Express Lines and Putnam Investments.

Additionally, the building is highly accessible, located in between Exits 16 and 17, and is a short distance from the Franklin MBTA Station. Franklin continuously attracts new industrial companies given its low tax rates and pro-business attitude.
