FALMOUTH, Mass.— Lark has officially opened Shore Haven, a new 21-room boutique hotel in Falmouth, introducing a fresh take on Cape Cod hospitality just steps from Surf Drive Beach.
Located at 321 Shore Street directly across from the beach, the newly debuted property blends the charm of a historic 19th-century building with contemporary coastal design and modern guest amenities. The opening marks the latest addition to Lark’s portfolio of boutique hotels across the United States.
“Shore Haven gives guests a new way to experience one of Cape Cod’s most vibrant coastal towns,” said Peter Twachtman, CEO of Lark. “We look forward to welcoming visitors and helping them discover the enduring charm of Falmouth.”
Originally built in the 1800s, Shore Haven has been reimagined to reflect the relaxed character and maritime heritage of Cape Cod. Designed by Boston-based interior design firm Reider + Co., the hotel’s interiors feature sandy neutral tones, seaside blues, natural textures, light wood finishes, and abstract artwork that evoke the rhythms of the coast while maintaining a refined yet approachable atmosphere.
The property’s outdoor amenities are designed to encourage guests to unwind and enjoy the coastal setting. Highlights include a heated saltwater swimming pool with lounge seating, landscaped lawns, an outdoor patio, picnic and fire pit areas, and a spacious front porch overlooking the surrounding neighborhood.
Shore Haven’s location provides convenient access to many of Falmouth’s most popular attractions. Guests are within walking distance of Surf Drive Beach and Falmouth Harbor, less than five minutes from Main Street’s shops and restaurants, and a short drive or bike ride from Woods Hole, the Shining Sea Bikeway, and Nobska Lighthouse.
Accommodations range from double queen guest rooms that sleep up to four people to spacious two-bedroom suites featuring garden views or direct access to the pool. Each room includes complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi, blackout shades, mini refrigerators, and bath amenities from LATHER.
Guests also receive Lark Hotels’ signature curated small-plates breakfast each morning, along with complimentary Leyden Street Coffee and tea. Additional amenities include complimentary sleep kits available upon request and complimentary Sunflow beach chairs for guests heading to the nearby shoreline.
Opening rates begin at $299 per night for double occupancy, with pricing varying by room type and season. ADA-accessible accommodations are available. Following its inaugural season, Shore Haven will operate seasonally from May through October.
