NORTH READING, Mass. — Columbia, a North Reading-based construction management firm, has promoted Sharon Jozokos and Matt Arsenault to senior vice president, recognizing their longstanding leadership and contributions to the company’s growth across multiple market sectors.
The promotions were announced by Columbia on June 4.
“Sharon and Matt have each made a significant impact on Columbia over many years through their leadership, commitment to their colleagues, and dedication to our clients and industry,” said Shawn Gallant, the firm’s chief operating officer.
“While their paths to this role have been different, both have worked extremely hard leading teams, developing strong and rewarding client relationships, and championing Columbia’s expertise throughout the region. We are thrilled to announce their well-deserved promotions.”
Jozokos has spent the past decade building Columbia’s healthcare construction practice into one of the region’s leading teams while helping expand the firm’s presence in the academic and science and technology sectors. Her project portfolio includes work for major healthcare and higher education institutions, including Mass General Brigham, Beth Israel Lahey Health, Tufts Medicine and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

In addition to her project leadership, Jozokos has been active in mentoring women pursuing careers in construction. She serves with several industry organizations, including Associated General Contractors of Massachusetts (AGC MA), the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC), Massachusetts Girls in Trades, the American Society for Health Care Engineering (ASHE), the New England Healthcare Engineers’ Society and her alma mater, Wentworth Institute of Technology.
Arsenault has spent 18 years with Columbia and currently serves as director of interiors, where he oversees the firm’s interiors practice. The company credited him with leading teams, strengthening client relationships and delivering successful projects throughout his tenure.
Over the course of his career at Columbia, Arsenault has contributed to more than 150 construction projects for clients including Amazon, The Chiofaro Company, Forrester, WilmerHale and Wayfair.
Outside the firm, Arsenault serves as co-chair of the CoreNet Global Leadership Program and is a graduate of the program.
The promotions come as Columbia continues to expand its presence in healthcare, life sciences, commercial interiors and institutional construction markets throughout Massachusetts and the greater New England region.
