Maynard, MA—Capital Group Properties announced Jersey Mike’s sub shop, Semper Laser and Verizon Wireless signed leases at Maynard Crossing, a premier new 300,000 SF mixed-use development anchored by Market Basket in Maynard, Massachusetts.
These new leases will further expand the development’s diverse offerings on the heels of grand openings at Maynard Family Dental and Maynard Veterinary Care in May, along with Bueno Y Sano slated to open later this month.
Semper Laser will offer advanced technology laser hair removal in a state-of-the-art new 1,200 SF suite, located at 5 Digital Way. Jersey Mike’s will occupy 1,300 SF at 3 Digital Way near Emerson Hospital, adding to the sub shop’s franchise portfolio of over 2,000 locations since the business began in 1956. Verizon Wireless will be relocating from a nearby shopping center to the new 1,549 SF store in the same building as Jersey Mike’s.
The announcement comes as Capital Group is set to break ground on Phase II of Maynard Crossing. Phase II includes construction of two new buildings that will offer an additional 46,000 SF of retail space to accommodate multiple tenants of various sizes. This phase will continue to enhance Maynard Crossing’s identity as a place to gather with expanded green space, ponds and courtyard areas.
The new 1,800 SF Bueno Y Santo opening this month marks the eighth location for the fast casual Mexican restaurant, which was founded in Massachusetts.
Maynard Family Dental opened the new 2,800 SF office at Maynard Crossing last month, relocating from the practice’s downtown Maynard location. Maynard Veterinary Care’s new 5,400 SF office provides high-quality veterinary services for cats and dogs, from wellness exams to lab services and surgery.
Maynard Crossing, which is located at 2-16 Digital Way, broke ground in 2019. The development integrates two new residential communities including Halstead Maynard Crossing, a 180-unit luxury apartment complex, and Camellia Gardens, a 143-unit upscale senior independent living community, along with a synergy of retail, dining, healthcare and entertainment tenants.
