BOSTON—The Associated General Contractors of Massachusetts (AGC MA) announced the 2025 Building Women in Construction (BWiC) Inspire Awards, which will take place on Thursday, March 6 from 4 – 7 p.m.at the Intercontinental Hotel, 501 Atlantic Avenue in Boston.

Massachusetts Lt. Governor Kim Driscoll will deliver the keynote address. The annual event, which recognizes and honors ‘exemplary women in construction,’ will take place following Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey’s signing of an Executive Order in December 2024 that established state commissions, protocols, and initiatives to increase the number of women and other historically underrepresented groups in the construction workforce.
The BWiC Inspire Awards will also feature program host Annissa Essaibi George, former Boston city councilor at-

large and current President & CEO of Big Sister Boston. Awards will be presented to women in the regional construction sector who have distinguished themselves through their leadership, generosity, innovation, and unwavering commitment to their career, colleagues, and industry.
The 2025 Inspire Award winners are:

Mentor: Lauren Slaven, Senior Superintendent – Shawmut Design and Construction
Emerging Leader: Haley Dyer, Electrical Estimator – BOND Building Construction, Inc.
Rising Star: Maria LeVie, Talent & Culture Manager – TG Gallagher
Trades Woman: Cheryl Lieteau, Master Carpenter – W.T.
