Chelsea, Mass.— The Architectural Team (TAT), a Boston-area architecture and design firm, has announced a series of 12 promotions across its design, management, and administrative teams as it continues to expand its national portfolio.

The promotions include four new Senior Associates: Phil Renzi, Andrew Stebbins, Meghann Van Dorn, and Anthony Vivirito. According to the firm, each has led complex projects spanning affordable and mixed-income housing, senior living, adaptive reuse, and large-scale mixed-use developments.

Five additional employees — Al Donovan, Ryan Hagler, Kasumi Humphries, Jim Podesky, and Nathan Thomas — have been promoted to Associate roles, joining the firm’s leadership track.

TAT also announced promotions within its administrative and marketing teams. Danielle Eckrich has been named Director of Administration, Kristen Parry has been promoted to Senior Marketing Coordinator and Pursuits Lead, and Meghan Wynne has been named Controller.

Firm leadership said the promotions reflect both internal growth and an expanding geographic reach, with active projects now spanning more than a dozen states. The announcement follows the recent appointment of Thomas Schultz as Managing Principal.

“For over 55 years, TAT has grown and thrived because we believe in supporting and nurturing our team members,” Schultz said in a statement. “Everyone in our firm shares a belief in the power of architecture to help create more livable, equitable, and sustainable communities.”

TAT, a 100-plus-person firm, focuses on multifamily housing, mixed-use developments, senior living, and adaptive reuse projects. Its recent work includes projects such as Stone Mill Lofts, an all-electric residential conversion of a historic industrial complex; The Cove in Worcester; redevelopment work at Mary Ellen McCormack in Boston; and renovations at St. Francis House.

The firm said the newly promoted employees have contributed to many of these projects and will play key roles in supporting continued growth across architecture, planning, and interior design services.

Founded more than 55 years ago, The Architectural Team has completed projects nationwide and has received more than 300 design awards across a range of building types, including residential, commercial, hospitality, and community facilities.
