Boston – The Commercial Brokers Association (CBA) announced The Davis Companies has been named the recipient of the 2020 CBA Achievement Award for Landlord of the Year. The special recognition was awarded to The Davis Companies for their distinguished service, excellence, and close collaboration with the Greater Boston brokerage community and broader real estate industry as well as their commitment to the Greater Boston community.
Since 2020, The Davis Companies has been especially active in the competitive Boston market with tremendous deal activity that includes over 450,000 SF of commercial leases signed, the successful lease up and sale of a 270-unit luxury apartment building in Burlington, and the sale of an ongoing 405,000 SF lab conversion project in East Cambridge.
On the development front, the company has recently completed the new Omni Hotel at the Seaport and two luxury condominiums, one in East Boston and one in the South End, and started construction on 790,000 SF of lab space across 3 buildings in Watertown and Cambridge as well as a 222,000 SF last-mile distribution facility in Everett.
