BOSTON, MA – The Chiofaro Company announced the addition of David Brunelle to the leadership team.

David brings over 20 years of experience in development and project management to the team. Prior to joining The Chiofaro Company, David was the Senior Vice President of Project & Development services at JLL Boston. His responsibilities encompassed all aspects of the development process including permitting, project budgeting, scheduling, design management, and development management of commerical and residential projects throughout New England. David’s most recent experience includes overseeing the expansion, renovation and repositioning of One Post Office Square.

“David’s extensive experience in complex development and proven track record of delivering first-class products aligns with the growth and trajectory of our company,” said Don Chiofaro Jr., Vice President of The Chiofaro Company. “With this important addition to the team, we are confident as we enter the final stages of our $100 million transformation of International Place. This project marks a new chapter for our tenants and the downtown waterfront community, and this next generation of leadership is essential in creating a vibrant business community within our building. We aim to cultivate an environment that not only benefits our tenants but also contributes to the broader economic development of Boston.”

David’s role will include managing permitting, design and construction of all projects for The Chiofaro Company, as well as identifying future development opportunities for the firm. He will also focus his expertise on advancing plans for The Pinnacle – the long anticipated proposed redevelopment of the Harbor Garage site on Boston’s waterfront.

At the start of 2023, The Chiofaro Company announced a $100 million transformative reinvestment in International Place, the 1.8M SF office complex in Boston’s downtown. The comprehensive reimagination celebrates the prominence of International Place in Boston, as well as the pivotal role it has played in the evolution of the city.
