BOSTON — The Renaissance Boston Seaport District has officially completed a transformative multi-million-dollar renovation, unveiling a modern, design-forward hotel experience inspired by the history and evolution of one of Boston’s most dynamic neighborhoods.

Located steps from the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center and nestled amid the shops, restaurants, and cultural attractions of the Seaport, the revamped hotel features refreshed guest rooms and suites, a fully redesigned lobby, and an elevated Club Lounge offering panoramic views of the city and harbor.

General Manager Tom Walsh emphasized the hotel’s renewed focus on place and purpose. “With this multi-million-dollar renovation, we are the premier destination to stay in Boston’s Seaport District,” said Walsh. “You cannot find a better location in the Seaport with easy access to everything this vibrant neighborhood has to offer.”

Design with a Story

Led by design firm Parker Torres, the renovation celebrates the Seaport’s industrial heritage while embracing its future as a hub of art, innovation, and sustainability. Design elements reflect the district’s legacy of fish piers and warehouses, balanced with contemporary textures, sleek finishes, and artful details.

Guest Rooms and Suites: A Sustainable Sanctuary

All 471 guest rooms and suites have been reimagined to reflect the unique character of the Seaport. Rooms are outfitted with urban-inspired wood accents, plush bedding, and bold leather touches. Many rooms feature floor-to-ceiling views of Boston’s skyline or the bustling waterfront.

In a forward-thinking nod to sustainability, materials used in the renovations include recycled and plant-based products. Window sheers are crafted from 50% repurposed ocean plastic, while bed frames are built from 95% recycled iron and repurposed railroad steel — a design decision that blends eco-consciousness with industrial chic.

Lobby and Public Spaces: A Welcome Reinvented

The hotel’s new lobby creates an inviting atmosphere through sophisticated woodwork, leather furniture, and warm lighting. Designed as both a meeting point and a relaxing space for guests, it reflects the energy of the surrounding neighborhood while providing a refined environment for business and leisure travelers alike.

Club Lounge: Exclusive Comfort with a View

Renaissance Boston Seaport District’s Club Lounge has also been elevated, offering Marriott Bonvoy® Platinum, Titanium, and Ambassador Elite Members exclusive access to a stylish retreat with sweeping views of the city and harbor. The lounge offers breakfast in the morning, refreshments throughout the day, and curated evening bites and beverages — all within a serene and design-rich setting.
