One Seaport Hosts Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, Update on Tenants

BOSTON–One Seaport, Boston’s largest mixed-use development in 30 years, held a ribbon cutting ceremony this week in Courthouse Square, a new 17,000 sf open space that was a key part of the project.

The ceremony took place in front of One Seaport’s Boston is The New Boston, a street art mural created by Portugal’s Half Studio, best known for their prolific and relatable street art.

One Seaport is a marquee destination within the Seaport District. Comprised of two city blocks and situated on three acres of land in the heart of the neighborhood, One Seaport is the largest mixed-use project in the City of Boston in over 30 years. It spans 1.5 million square feet in total and represents the highest concentration of retail space in the Seaport, with 250,000 square feet devoted to shopping, dining, fitness, and entertainment.

832 modern, amenity-rich apartments, dubbed The Benjamin and VIA, sit above the retail experience.

The C.C. Filson Co. (Opening Spring 2018): The C.C. Filson Co. has selected Boston’s Seaport for its first store in New England. Tuscan Kitchen (Now Open): This classic New England brand has opened a 300-seat artisan Italian restaurant concept, serving made from scratch Italian cuisine, including thin-crust Neapolitan pizza alongside an 80-seat wine bar, espresso bar and 2,000 square foot private dining space.
