MARLBOROUGH, Mass.— Maugel DeStefano Architects announced that the first building at Vesa, a new 140-unit apartment community at 339 Boston Post Road, has officially opened to residents.

The firm served as Architect of Record for the project, working in close collaboration with The Procopio Companies, which is developing and managing construction of the upscale residential community.

Vesa introduces a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartment homes, each featuring a private outdoor deck or at-grade patio. Designed with a traditional aesthetic and an earthy material palette, the community blends modern convenience with natural elements, offering what the project team describes as a “welcoming retreat from the ordinary urban lifestyle.”

The 140-unit development is composed of three residential buildings and delivers a wide array of amenities, including a fully equipped fitness center, club lounge, resort-style outdoor pool deck, covered parking, dog park, and access to nearby walking trails.

“It’s been a pleasure collaborating with the Procopio Team on this project,” said Mark Pelletier, principal at Maugel DeStefano Architects. “From the well-appointed apartments to the extensive amenities, every element was designed with residents in mind. We’re proud to deliver a community that genuinely enriches daily life for everyone who calls Vesa home.”

The project team also includes Wozny/Barbar Associates for MEP/FP engineering, H+O Structural Engineering, SLS Consulting for code compliance, Allen & Major for civil and landscape design, and Cube 3 leading interior design.

The remaining two residential buildings at Vesa are currently underway and will open on a rolling basis as construction progresses.
