BOSTON–Matt Pullen, executive managing director at NKF Capital Markets, is now the Chair of the Boston/New England District Council of the Urban Land Institute, according to an announcement by ULI Boston.
Mr. Pullen brings 12 years of ULI experience to his chairmanship, having served on the national Office Development Product Council, the local Boston Market Council and Young Leaders Group, and the Fall Meeting Host Committee.
Mr. Pullen succeeds Maura Moffatt, managing director of investments at Synergy Investments, who served as district chair for two and a half years. Carlos Febres-Mazzei, director at Eastdil Secured, will assume the role of Vice-Chair.
Mr. Pullen was named Chair of the Boston/New England District Council last July.
Mr. Pullen started his career at CBRE as the director of research for New England, authoring the market’s leading research reports. He went on to work as a senior vice president at CBRE’s Institutional Group, selling over $1 billion of investment properties before he joined the market leading investment team at Cushman & Wakefield in 2012.
Mr. Pullen’s extensive clientele has included some of the region’s most recognized real estate owners including Blackstone, Boston Properties, Clarion, Divco West, Deutsche Bank, JP Morgan, Invesco, Prudential and Skanska, among many others.
