Margulies Perruzzi Architects Welcomes Director of Marketing Nicole Buxton and Architectural Designer Jon Neal

ofessionals to the firm. Nicole Buxton has been named director of marketing, and Jon Neal has joined the firm as an architectural designer.
“Nicole and Jon bring a breadth and depth of skills and experience to MPA,” said Dan Perruzzi, AIA, LEED AP, senior partner at Margulies Perruzzi Architects. “They both recognize that MPA is a great place to work, and we are pleased to add them to the MPA family. We look forward to their respective contributions to the exciting work we have ahead of us.”
Nicole Buxton brings more than 18 years of marketing and communications experience within the Boston A/E/C community. As MPA’s director of marketing, she manages the firm’s marketing business practices, including strategy setting, proposal and presentation response, and internal and external communications. A member of the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) Boston since 2001, Nicole currently serves on the SMPS board as director of membership, and previously served as chair of the awards committee. In 2015, she participated in a SMPS Boston Strategic Planning panel presentation at the Architecture Boston Expo (ABX), specifically discussing research and communications. Nicole received a Bachelor of Arts cum laude from Smith College, with a double major in Art with a concentration in Architecture and Medieval Studies with a concentration in Art. She also holds a digital graphic design certificate from the New England Institute of Art.
With more than 15 years of experience in the design of new and renovated commercial, healthcare, and residential projects, Jon Neal is skilled at creating appealing and exciting designs that address client needs in an engaging and practical way. Previously, he held project manager and architectural designer positions for several Boston-based architectural firms. In those roles, he contributed his architectural design skills to projects including Shields MRI and Oncology Centers, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, and Logan Airport, as well as numerous multi-tenant fit-out and hospitality projects. Jon received a Master of Architecture from Boston Architectural College and a Bachelor of Science in Building Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
