AMESBURY, Mass.— Marcus Partners, in partnership with global climate control leader Munters, officially opened a new state-of-the-art flagship facility in Amesbury, Massachusetts. The 430,000-square-foot building will serve as the central hub for Munters’ desiccant dehumidification products and climate control solutions for the North American market.

Lieutenant Governor Kim Driscoll joined company executives and community leaders for the grand opening celebration, highlighting the facility’s significant contribution to Massachusetts’ advanced manufacturing sector and its strong focus on sustainability.

“Massachusetts has always been a place where innovation and hard work come together to create opportunity,” said Lt. Gov. Driscoll. “This new Munters facility is exemplary of our revolutionary spirit—supporting hundreds of jobs in Amesbury, strengthening our advanced manufacturing sector, and showing how sustainability and economic growth can go hand in hand.”

The new site, developed and delivered by Marcus Partners, houses nearly 350 employees across operations, research and development, sales, service, and administration. It was designed to support Munters’ long-term strategic vision to double its business and halve its climate footprint by 2030.

“This facility is a major milestone in our growth and sustainability journey,” said Henrik Teiwik, President of Munters’ AirTech business area. “With it, we are investing in regional production for regional markets and are better equipped to meet the specific needs of the American market.”

The facility features extensive sustainability enhancements, including the electrification of processes and equipment, significant energy efficiency improvements, and a rooftop solar array powered by renewable electricity. The design also emphasizes a welcoming and inclusive work environment, with employee-focused amenities integrated throughout.

“We set out to build a facility that supports our people and our planet, and we’re proud to say we achieved both,” said Andrew Cook, Senior Vice President Americas, AirTech business area. “This site not only improves our workflows and customer service capacity, but also provides an enhanced, attractive environment for current and future employees.”

Marcus Partners delivered the project on time and within budget, exemplifying its build-to-suit expertise and commitment to community collaboration.

“We are proud to have partnered with Munters, the City of Amesbury, and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to bring this forward-looking facility to life,” said Paul Marcus, CEO of Marcus Partners. “This project is a testament to what’s possible when public and private sectors work together with a shared vision.”

The facility marks a significant investment in sustainable manufacturing, local workforce development, and the continued growth of Munters’ presence in North America.
