RANDOLPH, MA–The Massachusetts-based event venue, Lombardo’s Meetings & Occasions, which also houses Vincent’s Nightclub located at 6 Billings Street in Randolph, MA, have entered into an agreement to sell the property in late 2023.

This announcement comes on the heels of the formal organization of the Lombardo Family’s various businesses into the Lombardo’s Hospitality Group which includes Bardo’s Bar Pizza located in South Boston.

“The history of this building and what it has meant to so many members of the community of Randolph cannot be overlooked and it’s obviously a significant moment in time for all of us. With that being said, we’ve been a family run business for close to a hundred years starting with our first venture Liberty Market in East Boston in 1927. We are no longer in the market business and have always evolved to do what’s best for the longevity of the business, the people that we employ, and the communities in which we operate. This is the right decision for all involved at this time and we’re looking forward to the growth and change ahead with the fourth generation,” said Vincent Lombardo, Chief Executive Officer of The Lombardo Companies.

The Lombardo’s Hospitality Group’s Randolph location will be purchased by Core Investments, Inc., a Boston-based real estate investment and development company with multiple holdings in the Greater Boston area. Having invested in properties at the prominent intersection of I-93 and state Route 28 in Randolph, the Core team recognizes the potential for thoughtful and creative redevelopment of the area.

The projected closure date of Lombardo’s Meetings & Occasions and Vincent’s Nightclub housed at the 6 Billings Street address in Randolph, MA is September 2023.

“While this is another significant moment for us as a family business, and we’ve had many over the years, we feel we’ve made the best business decision to grow the future of the business and have done the due diligence to honor both our customers and our employees,” said David Lombardo, Director of Operations of Lombardo’s Hospitality Group(LHG).

The Lombardo’s Hospitality Group will continue to focus on catering and events after the Randolph closure, while expanding their newest concept, Best of Boston Winner Bardo’s Bar Pizza.

Lombardo’s Hospitality Group (LH) is a full-service hospitality company which includes: restaurants, catering, event services and consultation and retail product offerings. Owned and operated as a private holding by the Massachusetts-based Lombardo family, the company began in 1927 in East Boston, MA with the opening of Liberty Market, marking nearly 100 years of serving the communities in which it operates.
