BURLINGTON, MA— KeyPoint Partners negotiated a new lease for its expanding cinema client Apple Cinemas for a premier cinema location at Pittsford Plaza in Rochester, New York.

Apple Cinemas will replace the former Pittsford Cinema 9 at 3349 Monroe Avenue. Vice President of Leasing Don Mace negotiated the deal for the 27,452 square foot cinema.

“Apple Cinemas will provide high quality family entertainment to the Rochester market, greatly enhancing the movie-going experience for Rochester residents as it expands its presence across the U.S.,” Mace says. KPP is seeking sites throughout the U.S. to develop new cinemas or rebrand existing ones, with a goal of opening 100 cinemas during the next decade.”

“Apple Cinemas is on a path to becoming a top-tier cinema operator throughout the U.S. The group excels at enhancing the movie-going experience via technological upgrades, improved FF&E, and providing dine-in and enhanced food and beverage options. We’re assessing every opportunity to grow the brand,” Mace says. “Apple Cinemas prefers sites in the 30,000 – 65,000 square-foot range with suitable ceiling heights, with an eye towards converting existing cinemas.”
