BOSTON— JM Electrical has announced the promotion of Craig Chisholm to Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Chisholm, who joined the company in 2021 as Director of Finance, brings over two decades of industry experience and a proven track record of financial leadership to his new executive role.

During his four years at JM Electrical, Chisholm has led the firm’s financial strategy with precision, leveraging industry best practices and benchmarking to help position the company for sustainable growth. As CFO, he will expand his responsibilities to include long-term financial planning and executive decision-making, playing a key role in shaping the company’s strategic direction.

“Craig’s promotion to CFO is well-deserved and reflects his exceptional contributions to our organization,” said Matthew Guarracino, Principal & CEO of JM Electrical. “His strategic thinking, attention to detail, and deep understanding of construction finance make him ideally suited for this executive position. We have complete confidence in his ability to guide our financial strategy as we continue to grow and serve our clients at the highest level.”

A U.S. Army veteran with 11 years of service, Chisholm holds an MBA from UMass Lowell and a Bachelor’s in Accounting and Finance from Salem State University. He is a Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP) and currently serves as President of the Board for the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA) New Hampshire Chapter.

“Something a drill sergeant said to me many times that I’ve applied to life: ‘Move with a purpose,’” said Chisholm. “In my new role as CFO, I’m excited to continue moving JM Electrical forward with a purpose—ensuring our financial foundation supports the company’s growth and our commitment to excellence in serving our clients.”
