WORCESTER, Mass.— Jenny Cote of REMAX Diverse has been named the 2026 REALTOR® of the Year by the Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® (MAR), receiving the state association’s highest individual honor for excellence in real estate and professional and community involvement.

Cote was selected from thousands of licensed real estate professionals across Massachusetts. The annual REALTOR® of the Year award recognizes an individual who demonstrates leadership, ethical standards, professional excellence and a commitment to the real estate industry and communities at the local, state and national levels.

According to REMAX Diverse, Cote’s recognition reflects her work as a real estate professional as well as her involvement in housing initiatives, community outreach and industry governance. Throughout her career, she has established herself as a top producer and trusted advisor, advocating for buyers and sellers while contributing to efforts aimed at strengthening the housing market.

“Jenny’s dedication to her clients, her peers, and the broader Massachusetts community embodies the absolute gold standard of real estate,” said Hejoma Garcia, broker-owner at REMAX Diverse. “Winning the state REALTOR® of the Year award is a well-deserved recognition of her hard work, ethical integrity, and passion for making homeownership accessible and rewarding for everyone she serves. We could not be prouder to have her representing REMAX Diverse.”

Beyond her sales accomplishments, Cote has been active in local housing initiatives and community outreach programs, while also participating in industry governance. Her work has included advocating for clients and supporting efforts focused on expanding opportunities for homeownership and promoting a stronger housing market.

For Cote, the award represents both a personal achievement and recognition of the broader role real estate professionals can play in their communities.

“Receiving the Massachusetts REALTOR® of the Year award is an incredible honor,” Cote said. “This recognition reminds me that the work we do matters, not only in helping individuals and families achieve homeownership, but also in advocating for a stronger and more inclusive housing market.”

Cote also credited the clients, colleagues and mentors who have supported her throughout her career.

“I’m grateful to my clients, colleagues, mentors, and everyone who has supported me along the way,” she said. “This award inspires me to continue serving, advocating, and helping create greater opportunities for homeownership.”

The MAR REALTOR® of the Year award highlights Cote’s contributions at a time when housing affordability and access to homeownership remain significant issues across Massachusetts. Her recognition underscores the role of real estate professionals not only in facilitating individual transactions, but also in participating in broader conversations and initiatives affecting housing opportunities throughout the Commonwealth.

For REMAX Diverse, Cote’s selection represents a significant accomplishment for the Worcester-based brokerage and recognition of its agent’s work both within the real estate industry and the communities she serves.
