Longtime employee will oversee engineering staff across the firm’s western offices while supporting continued growth and project excellence.
DANVERS, Mass. — Hancock Associates has promoted Brian Geaudreau, P.E., to Engineering Manager, Western Operations, expanding his leadership role within the multidisciplinary land surveying, civil engineering, and wetland science firm.
In his new position, Geaudreau will oversee the engineering staff in Hancock Associates’ western offices alongside Joe Peznola, P.E., the firm’s Director of Engineering. He will also continue working with Katie Cruz, P.E., LEED AP, whose responsibilities as Engineering Manager have been expanded to include all of the company’s eastern offices.
As Engineering Manager, Western Operations, Geaudreau will be responsible for personnel management, work allocation, project oversight, business development and performance, quality assurance and quality control, and coordination with the firm’s land surveying, wetland science, billing, and administrative departments.
Geaudreau joined Hancock Associates in 2011 as a Staff Engineer and has steadily advanced through the organization during his 15-year tenure. In 2025, he was promoted to Senior Project Manager and Senior Associate, reflecting his growing leadership responsibilities and technical expertise.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering Technology from the University of Massachusetts Lowell and is a licensed Professional Civil Engineer as well as a certified Soil Evaluator in Massachusetts. He resides in Chelmsford.
