Boston – City Realty Group, a community-focused real estate development company serving the Greater Boston area since 2004, held a fundraiser at Sullivan’s Tap for The BASE, a Roxbury nonprofit that leverages the power and passion of sports to provide a range of engaging educational opportunities in an environment that cultivates talent and fosters love, hope, and belief.
City Realty Group organized a Pop-a-Shot tournament at the iconic sports bar that involved teams from 20 companies and organizations. The event raised more than $20,000 to support The BASE and its mission.
The BASE team took home the hardware and were crowned champions of the Pop-a Shot Tournament. Other organizations and individuals that contributed to the event were: Cushman Wakefield, New Meadow Development, Stony Brook & Lennox Realty Advisors, The NKF, Drago + Toscano LLP, Rise Construction, Chris Heidelberger, Rentable, Ligris & Associates PC, Burst, Encore Realty, Westfield Capital, Hank Murphy, Navien Financial, Sennere Co., Kevin Smith, Helix eSports and Dain Tropy, P.C.
City Realty Group also participated in the tournament fielding the team of Managing Partner and Co-Founder Steve Whalen, Chief Technology Officer Jerry Wycoco, Leasing Assistant Nicole Caceres, Accounting Associate Jelvis Lara, Acquisitions Associate Sean Rose and Marketing & Communications Associate Annabelle Tocco.
“There are many nonprofit and youth organizations we work with every year, all of them contributing greatly to the community. City Realty Group and City Kids will always be there to lend a helping hand to these organizations. The BASE has a special place in our heart. We have multiple BASE alumni on staff and have seen firsthand the positive impact the organization has on urban youth,” said City Realty Group Managing Partner Stephen Whalen.
