BROOKLINE, MA – Chestnut Hill Realty marked the opening of its new, 127-unit John Adams apartment building in Brookline’s Hancock Village with a $100,000 donation to the Brookline Teen Center. The donation is in recognition of 10 years of leadership at the Teen Center by Bobby Zuker, the son of Chestnut Hill Realty’s Founder and CEO, Ed Zuker.

The donation is part of Chestnut Hill Realty’s continued investment in the Town of Brookline and in supporting local charitable organizations.

“We believe that investing in our communities is essential to creating a better future for everyone. We are proud to support the Brookline Teen Center and the important work they do to empower young people in our community,” said Ed Zuker, Founder and CEO of Chestnut Hill Realty.

The Teen Center provides Brookline youth with a safe place to spend out-of-school time engaging in both formal and informal activities centered around academic enrichment, physical activity and socio-economic health.

“We are thrilled to receive this generous donation from Chestnut Hill Realty,” said Brookline Teen Center Interim Executive Director Paul Epstein. “This support will help us expand our programs and reach even more teens in our community, providing them with the resources and opportunities they need to succeed.”

The Adams Building is part of a 461-unit expansion within the Hancock Village apartment community called the Residences of South Brookline. The ROSB project is being developed to help fill the region’s critical housing shortage and affordable housing needs. A three-story, 36-unit apartment building and 48 townhomes were added in 2022 and a six-story, 250-unit building will open in 2024, bringing the total number of units within Hancock Village to nearly 1,300. Chestnut Hill Realty has continually reinvested in the property over the years, including complete renovations to more than 600 of the original 789 units and updating more than 11 miles of underground utilities.
