Boston – CBRE announced the sale of a freestanding Hannaford Bros. Co. supermarket, located at 255 Warner Boulevard in Taunton, MA, for $10,150,000. CBRE did not disclose the name of buyer and the seller.
The CBRE team of Kyle Juszczyszyn and Will Pike exclusively represented the seller, a private limited liability company, and procured the buyer.
“We are pleased to have completed the sale of Hannaford on behalf of the seller,” said CBRE’s Juszczyszyn. “Through a competitive process we were able to secure a buyer and close in 15 days from signing of the Letter of Intent.”
Completed in 2006, the property is 56,500 sq. ft. and is leased to Hannaford Bros. Co. The property also includes a parking lot with 279 spaces. The highly visible six-acre lot sits at the heavily traveled intersection of Warner Boulevard and U.S. Route 44 (±18,550 cars per day) in Taunton, Massachusetts. The U.S. Route 44 corridor features many notable retailers within a quarter mile of the property.
