BOSTON — CBRE has expanded its Greater Boston suburban office brokerage team with the appointment of Eric Jeremiah as vice president, strengthening the firm’s office leasing capabilities across the region.

In his new role, Jeremiah will focus on representing both tenants and landlords in suburban office leasing assignments throughout Greater Boston.

“We are pleased to welcome Eric to our suburban office practice in Greater Boston,” said Mike Brucato, executive managing director and Greater Boston market leader at CBRE. “He is a highly respected office broker with deep market knowledge and a strong track record of success advising both landlords and occupiers.”

Jeremiah joins CBRE after more than five years at Newmark, where he advised tenants and property owners on suburban office and industrial leasing transactions throughout the Greater Boston market. His experience spans both landlord and tenant representation, giving him a broad perspective on the region’s evolving commercial real estate landscape.

A graduate of Middlebury College, Jeremiah was a member of the school’s varsity lacrosse team.

“It’s very exciting to join such a well-regarded team at CBRE, a major brokerage player in the suburban office arena,” said Jeremiah. “I look forward to using my skills and working with other multi-talented team members to continue to grow our presence in the market and achieve exceptional results for our clients.”

The hiring comes as commercial real estate firms continue to invest in experienced leasing professionals to help owners and occupiers navigate the changing suburban office market across Greater Boston.
