BOSTON– The Commercial Brokers Association (CBA) will hold the first in a series of roundtable events as part of their new “Women in Commercial Brokerage” initiative, on Wednesday, June 20, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. at CBRE/New England, 33 Arch Street, 10th Floor, Boston.
CBA’s Women in Commercial Brokerage initiative is designed to build awareness of opportunities in commercial real estate for women and to support women who are already working in the industry. The event is part of a larger CBA diversity initiative and is open to both CBA members and non-members.
The event will feature a roundtable discussion on work/life balance moderated by Alison Powers, First Vice President at CBRE/New England, which will include panelists Kerry Hawkins, Senior Director, HFF; Molly Heath, Executive Vice President, JLL; and Kate Lien, Senior Director, Cushman & Wakefield.
These brokers and industry leaders will provide insights on their experiences, best practices and advice for female brokers navigating the commercial real estate brokerage industry.
The speaking program will begin at 6:00 p.m., followed by a reception at 7:00 p.m.

Founded in 1991 as the Commercial Leasing Committee of the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA), the Commercial Brokers Association was established as a division of the Greater Boston Real Estate Board (GBREB) in 2000.
