Boston— The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Boston, South Station Tower, one of the city’s most anticipated luxury residential developments by global real estate investment manager Hines, has announced the appointment of Brenda Turgeon as Residences General Manager.

A seasoned hospitality executive with more than two decades of experience with The Ritz-Carlton brand, Turgeon will lead the management of the property’s 166 luxury homes and extensive amenity offerings.

Turgeon brings a distinguished track record to her new role, having most recently served as General Manager of The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Boston South on Avery Street since 2019. During her tenure, the property received notable accolades including The Ritz-Carlton brand’s Mustang Award in 2021 and the prestigious Property of the Year award in 2023. Prior to that, she spent four years overseeing operations at The Ritz-Carlton, Boston hotel.

Her extensive career with The Ritz-Carlton began in 2003 at the brand’s Dearborn, Michigan property, where she started as a Banquet Server and quickly rose through the ranks to become Meetings and Special Events Manager. After moving to Philadelphia in 2006, she continued her upward trajectory, ultimately becoming Director of Hotel Operations. In 2015, she transitioned to Boston to oversee hotel operations and lead a $14 million renovation at The Ritz-Carlton, Boston.

“I am proud to join The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Boston, South Station Tower and be part of such a monumental and historic project for the City of Boston and Hines,” said Turgeon. “From my previous office across town, I’ve been able to watch South Station Tower rise above the clouds these past couple of years. I can’t imagine a better opportunity to now be a part of this incredible new property and shape the experience. I’m thrilled to lead and uphold the highest standards of hospitality for our future residents.”

A Michigan native and graduate of Michigan State University, Turgeon originally worked in the financial sector before discovering her passion for hospitality. When she’s not managing one of Boston’s most luxurious residences, she enjoys time with her family, staying active at the gym, skiing in Vermont, and spending summer days by the New England coast.
