CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. — BIRKENSTOCK Americas has opened a new company-owned retail store in Chestnut Hill, marking the brand’s 15th U.S. retail location and further expanding its footprint in the Greater Boston market following the opening of its Newbury Street store last year.
Located just outside Boston, Chestnut Hill is known for its classic New England character, vibrant shopping district and strong sense of community. The neighborhood’s mix of tradition and modern living provides a fitting setting for BIRKENSTOCK’s latest store, which opened just ahead of the holiday season to serve both local residents and visitors.
The Chestnut Hill store offers a full assortment of BIRKENSTOCK products for women, men and children, including the brand’s signature sandals and clogs, as well as sneakers, shoes, boots and socks. Shoppers can also explore the BIRKENSTOCK Care Essentials collection, which features foot and body care products designed to support overall wellness.
Reflecting the brand’s heritage, the store’s design incorporates signature materials such as cork, felt and leather, creating a warm, tactile environment that invites customers to engage with the full product lineup.

The opening comes as BIRKENSTOCK approaches a significant milestone: the 50th anniversary of its iconic Boston clog in 2026, underscoring the brand’s enduring influence and continued growth in the U.S. market.
The BIRKENSTOCK Chestnut Hill store is located at The Street Chestnut Hill, 27 Boylston St. The store is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 6 p.m.
