Las Vegas, NV – Avison Young announced that it has negotiated a five-year, 45,257-squarefoot (sf) office lease on behalf of the tenant, Barton Associates, the fourth largest locum tenens staffing company in the U.S. and its subsidiary, Barton Healthcare Staffing, a leading travel allied health and specialty nursing staffing firm.

The companies will occupy the first floor at 3634 S. Maryland Parkway in Las Vegas, NV with move-in scheduled for June 1, 2023.

Avison Young Principal John Dolan who is based in Boston, and Principal Scott Donaghe who is based in Las Vegas represented Barton Associates.

“Barton Associates will be using this new space for its Vegas-based healthcare staffing and
business operations teams in support of healthcare organizations throughout the U.S.,” said
Dolan. “This new space can accommodate up to 360 employees and will consolidate both its current on-site presence with its Summerlin office as well as provide ample space for
expansion. This great urban location offers Barton’s employees easy access to Interstate 15
and 515, abundant parking, and amenities.”

This Las Vegas location is Barton Associates’ western-most site, enabling the firm to provide additional hours of availability to clients, providers and clinicians across the country. It also provides continued career opportunities for its employees.

Donaghe added, “This new space offers our client a high-end, turnkey space with ample
amenities plus ideal commutes for current employees, which is utmost importance when
combining their two offices. The Las Vegas region offers an abundant local workforce,
including local colleges, that Barton Associates and Barton Healthcare Staffing will leverage
for growth. This deal allows our client to grow the office strategically as it phases into the
entire space.”

Barton Associates CEO Robert Indresano noted, “There is an ongoing need for highly skilled medical professionals nationwide. The aging population, plus expanded access to healthcare, and more medical professionals leaving fulltime work, is exacerbating the problem of understaffed healthcare facilities. Our business is to help healthcare organizations, providers and clinicians fulfill their mission, therefore, we are expediting our expansion to meet these staffing needs. Merging our two Las Vegas offices was inevitable, but this expansive office space allows us to expand our travel allied and specialty nursing division, opening a new Barton Healthcare Staffing division in the same location. With 45,000-plus square feet to fill, we’re planning to hire well into 2023 and 2024.”
