CARY, NC—With a solid base established by two long running New England offices—in Hingham, MA and Simsbury, CT—the Architecture and Interior Design firm, Phase Zero Design, heads south. Expanding their locally focused, nationally present business with the addition of an office in Raleigh, North Carolina’s vibrant suburb of Cary.

This third office location will officially be open for business as of September 6th, 2022.

The firm has had its eyes on the state’s well-known Research Triangle for a while now. Comprised of the area between Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill this unique region is a hub for global innovation. Phase Zero Design is eager to develop an even deeper connection to the community, with plans to hire from the Research Triangle’s near endless supply of diverse talent.

Since its inception in 2009, Phase Zero Design has partnered with clients across the country to deliver a design experience unique to each brand and its particular needs. The firm is committed to putting a clients’ goals for a project before their own; considering a successful design to be one in which everyone feels comfortable, confident, and well-represented.

With experience and repeat business across six market sectors—Hospitality, Healthcare, Workplace, Retail, Academic, and Residential—Phase Zero Design is prepared to expand the breadth of business they do throughout the Southeast. Harnessing the multifaceted experience of its employees to leverage truly engaging design concepts for the region’s newcomers and longtime residents alike.

“This decision to expand to the Research Triangle is a strategic one,” explains Principal Matthew Wittmer, “the region’s invigorating development aligns closely with our firm’s strategic growth plans for several market sectors including Healthcare, Hospitality, Residential, and Life Sciences.”

“We are excited to offer our firm’s wide range of experience as an asset to the Triangle’s commercial real estate community,” Wittmer shares, “we look forward to becoming a well-integrated member of the Triangle’s business landscape.”

Bolstered by a number of successful projects in both North and South Carolina, the decision to open this office is directly correlated to the market response received by the firm over the past several years.

Phase Zero Design brings both a sense of architectural urgency—and a level of relationship-based service—that best aligns with the nonstop growth of the region.

With one of the firm’s existing employees making the move with the firm—and another that has been working remotely in North Carolina since 2016—Phase Zero Design’s Cary office will initially be staffed by two longtime employees. This will help to support the brand’s cultural continuity as the firm anticipates the addition of eight to ten employees sourced directly from the Raleigh market and surrounding areas over the coming months.

Phase Zero Design’s new office will be located at 128 Towerview Court, Cary, NC.
