KINGSTON, Mass. — Wingate Living has named Matthew Ryan as director of nursing at Wingate at Silver Lake, while also expanding the skilled nursing facility’s admissions team with the addition of Stacey Youngworth.

Ryan brings more than 10 years of nursing leadership experience in skilled nursing and post-acute care. Most recently, he served in director of nursing and regional clinical leadership roles with Franchi Health Care, where he oversaw multiple skilled nursing communities. During his tenure, he helped improve a facility’s CMS overall star rating from one to four stars and achieved a five-star Quality Measures rating.

In his new role, Ryan will oversee clinical operations, support the nursing staff and focus on delivering high-quality resident care.

“Matthew brings exactly the kind of clinical leadership and operational depth that elevates a community,” said Alexandra Schuster, president of Wingate Living. “His record speaks for itself, but what stands out most is his genuine investment in the people he works with, both residents and staff.”

Wingate at Silver Lake also welcomed Stacey Youngworth to its admissions team, where she will work alongside Director of Admissions Karen Laffey.

Youngworth brings more than 20 years of experience in clinical care, case management and senior living admissions. A physical therapist assistant by training, she previously spent more than 12 years as a case manager at South Shore Hospital and more than nine years as an admissions director in a skilled nursing setting.

In her new role, Youngworth will assist prospective residents and their families through the admissions process at the 164-bed skilled nursing, short-term rehabilitation and long-term care community.
