WALTHAM, MA– Welch’s, a trailblazer in the fruit-based food and beverage industry for over 150 years, officially opened the doors to its new corporate headquarters at Reservoir Place in Waltham, Massachusetts, with a celebratory ribbon-cutting ceremony on June 17.
The event marked a major milestone for the iconic company, signaling a bold step forward as it enters a new phase of growth. Surrounded by city leaders, community members, and employees, Welch’s Executive Leadership Team joined Waltham Mayor Jeanette McCarthy to commemorate the opening at 1601 Trapelo Road—a state-of-the-art, 60,000-square-foot facility designed to foster innovation, collaboration, and continued success.

Designed in partnership with SGA and project managed by A/E/C Solutions, the modern workplace reflects Welch’s vibrant brand identity and mission. Featuring expansive lab space, open collaboration zones, and contemporary amenities, the new headquarters underscores the company’s focus on supporting its 200 corporate employees, enhancing operational efficiencies, and attracting top-tier talent. The location also offers strategic visibility and access via Interstate 95.
The grand opening included remarks from local officials such as Waltham Mayor Jeanette McCarthy, City Councilors Bill Hanley, Kathleen McMenimen, Sean Durkee, and Councilor at Large Carlos Vidal. Guests enjoyed product samples from Welch’s Sparkling and ZERO beverage lines, alongside refreshments from beloved local vendors Muddy Water Coffee and Kane’s Donuts.
