Vantage Builders Hires John Kilcoyne as Chief Financial Officer

WALTHAM, MA– Vantage Builders, Inc., a general contracting and construction firm based in Waltham, Mass., announced the appointment of John Kilcoyne as the firm’s Chief Financial Officer.

In this role, he will oversee the firm’s financial strategy and operations, including budgeting, planning, analysis and risk management.

“Vantage Builders has grown to the point where we felt it was critical to bring in a CFO to help guide the firm’s direction,” said John Connor, Principal, Vantage Builders. “We recently surpassed 50 employees for the first time and we’re successfully entering new markets, such as cannabis construction. John is the exact person we need to help us navigate through this new stage, streamline our processes and improve the firm’s overall performance. With his depth of financial knowledge and business strategy experience, we expect he will make an immediate impact on Vantage Builders, its clients and its employees.”

An established, strategic CFO, Mr. Kilcoyne has more than 30 years of experience in finance, accounting and business development. Prior to joining Vantage Builders, he served as CFO for Aerial Wireless Services, where he managed the finance, human resources, purchasing and operations teams. Previously, during a 20-year tenure as the CFO at International Packaging Corporation, he oversaw finance, IT and shipping and receiving, and successfully led the negotiations and integrations of three corporate acquisitions. Mr. Kilcoyne earned a master’s degree in Business Administration from Assumption College and a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Bryant University. He has taken additional courses at Harvard Business School.
