Revere, MA— Suffolk Downs reached a major milestone this weekend as Twisted Fate Brewing, a family- and majority woman-owned nanobrewery, officially opened its new taproom at Beachmont Square, becoming the first retail tenant to launch at the massive redevelopment site.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony, held on Saturday, October 4, celebrated the grand opening with remarks from city and state leaders, including Revere Mayor Patrick Keefe, City Council President Marc Silvestri, State Representative Jessica Giannino, and representatives from The HYM Investment Group and National Real Estate Advisors, the developers behind the Suffolk Downs transformation.

Located at 64 Salt Street, Twisted Fate’s new Revere taproom is the brewery’s second location, following the success of its original Danvers site opened in 2022. The new venue brings a rotating lineup of flavorful craft beers — including lagers, New England IPAs, and rich stouts — along with taproom-exclusive brews like Paul Revere. Food offerings and a planned seasonal outdoor patio (opening Spring 2026) add to the welcoming vibe.

“We are so excited to have our taproom open in Revere,” said Erica Tritta, co-owner of Twisted Fate Brewing. “We, together with our amazing team, can’t wait to pour you a pint while you relax in our brand-new space!”

“Twisted Fate is Revere’s first brewery,” noted Mayor Patrick Keefe, “bringing a new atmosphere to our Beachmont neighborhood. We’re excited to see them succeed.”

The opening coincided with Revere’s Fall Festival, held just outside the taproom at The Yard @ Beachmont Square, offering live music, local vendors, and Twisted Fate brews — helping establish the area as a lively, community-centered destination.

Twisted Fate’s launch kicks off a broader rollout of nine new retail concepts planned for the Amaya building, the first residential component at Suffolk Downs. Upcoming tenants include The Point Barre and Yoga, expected to open later this fall. BLACKLINE Retail Group is leading retail leasing efforts at Beachmont Square.

“Twisted Fate sets the tone for what’s to come,” said Thomas N. O’Brien, CEO of HYM. “It’s a welcoming space that brings energy and connection to Beachmont Square — a preview of the vibrant neighborhood we’re building at Suffolk Downs.”
